Here, you will see how to roleplay if it is your first one, our rules here at War of the Ages, and how to make it your own. It will all be divided into sections, so if your just looking for your first RP, then go down to that section, but if your looking for how to become a moderator, then find that.
YOUR FIRST ROLEPLAY

If this is your first roleplay, and your not quite sure how, or want to see different types of roleplaying, then this is the place to be. Here are some tips and helpful hints;
-There are two different types of roleplaying. 1st person and 3rd person.
1st Person: Ex- *walks up to ______* "Hello, _____" In 1st person roleplaying, you surround the action in *.
3rd Person: Ex- Blix walked up to ____ and saw she had ____eyes and _____ hair. "You have very nice eyes," he said to the girl. In 3rd person, what you do is say exactly as if your watching from above, but know their feelings and thoughts.
-If you want to state something that your character is thinking, then type it out, then go back and hilight it, and click the italisize button. Then, if you wanted, you could say what they thought in parenthesese, or leave it in italisize and leave it at that.
With this, you should be able to get some basic roleplaying done. Try to keep one liners off also, so we can keep the story progressing. And don't worry, after a bit of time and practice, you'll be able to rp like a pro!
How to Become a Moderator

If your wondering how you can become a moderator, this is the place that will tell you.
To become a moderator, you have to pm one of the administrators that you would like to be a moderator. If you have a warning already, than it will be unlikely you are chosen. If you follow the rules and we think that you can be responsible, then we will put a poll up for one week with 3 chosen people. The winner of the pole will be the new moderator. There is no limit to the times you can try, but don't just spam your request. If no one else has requested to be a mod after a month, then that person will be the mod if they were one of the chosen ones.

There are a few rules to be added to the in-character roleplay. There are also a few things that could help you out.
-You cannot create a topic in an area. We will have areas posted for you to roleplay in.
-Always stay in character unless you put parenthesese around a statement away from the actual rp itself.
-Remember that if your getting a bit sexual, make a spoiler. To make a spoiler, put spoiler surrounded by [ ] before the word, and the same after it, except like this [/ before it. It should turn out like this.

Signatures & Avatars

If your going to have a signature that will stretch the page, then put it in a spoiler. If it won't, then your fine. You can put virtually anything on the signature and avatar part of your profile. If an avatar stretches the page, then change the size of your avatar.
Trading Market

Here, you can create your own market from which others can trade or buy from you. To do this, copy the application under this, and send it filled out to one of us and we will create the topic for you, then you will have your own market. Also, if you wanted to buy from one place and sell it to another market to make a profit, then go ahead. To shop owners, you will have to barter with them on the sale price. All shop owners must pm us their profit that they've made that week, and we will give them the money. If you barter with someone, and want to use the item to sell, put it in as an exclusive item, and put a price on it.

How the money system in this game will work is that every 100 posts, you will get $20. To make sure that you get the money, pm us and we will give it to you. MAKE SURE THAT YOU ONLY USE MONEY THAT YOU HAVE! Every time that you buy something, pm us how much money you used.
